Refund policy

CANCELLATION POLICY / INSTRUCTION ON THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL FOR DIGITAL PRODUCTS AND DIGITAL CONTENT (Pursuant to § 356 (5) of the German Civil Code – BGB)

1. Right of Withdrawal A consumer (any natural person who enters into a transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business, or profession) has the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the date of conclusion of the contract (placing and paying for the order).

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must inform the seller:

of their decision to withdraw from this contract by means of an unequivocal statement (e.g., a letter sent by e-mail).

2. Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal (Digital Products) In the case of contracts for the supply of digital content not delivered on a tangible medium (in particular: license keys, subscriptions, agrometeorological data, platform access, downloadable files), the right of withdrawal expires prematurely if:

  • The seller began performance of the contract (provided the file, generated and delivered the license key, or granted platform access) after the consumer gave express consent to begin performance before the expiry of the withdrawal period.

  • The consumer acknowledged that by giving consent to immediate performance, they lose their right of withdrawal.

  • The seller provided the consumer with confirmation of the contract and the given consent on a durable medium (in the order confirmation email).

3. Effects of Withdrawal (Where the Right Has Not Expired) If you withdraw from this contract, we will refund all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to exercise your right of withdrawal.

We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

Upon effective withdrawal, access to the digital content, license, or services will be revoked.

4. Exclusion for Business Customers (B2B) The right of withdrawal does not apply to entrepreneurs/business customers (purchases made for commercial purposes with a Tax ID / VAT-ID). In B2B transactions, all sales are final upon conclusion of the contract.

5. Complaints and Statutory Warranty (Gewährleistung) The expiry of the right of withdrawal does not affect the consumer’s statutory warranty rights regarding non-conformity of digital content/goods with the contract. If a provided key, file, or platform access does not function properly, the consumer has the right to request remediation or a refund.
